About 1 Day of Art
We are pleased to announce (t)here Magazine’s annual 1 DAY OF ART, which will include artists of all disciplines gathering in Brooklyn for the one day, 24 hour creative session, under a new format, and providing the editorial content for Volume 19, The Brooklyn Issue, to be released in Fall 2018.
In this continuing (t)here magazine concept - photographers, painters, sculptures, writers, musicians and artists of any and all media will participate and work-on their editorial assignment, in their own studio, and will create based upon inspiration found within the borough of Brooklyn.
The afternoon of Saturday June 9, 2018 at NOON, all participants selected will gather in Brooklyn, where they will receive their instructions and participate in discussions related to proposed editorial content. All Artists will then begin their process, based upon a limited amount of instruction supplied, which will relate to the borough. The subsequent work must be completed within 24 hours. All files and relevant materials are to be delivered to the (t)here Magazine editorial team at NOON on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
